A Prompt Response (Discussion on writing for prompts)

I've decided to try out responding to a few different prompts this week. One was a single word topic. Another was a string of words. The third was a picture.

I'm finding that (based on this week's writing, and previous prompt writing) that I have a much easier time responding to visual and auditory prompts. They feel easier to respond to, and generally give me a bit more oomph and inspiration. Failing that, I find that single word prompts are also easier than a string of words or a more explicit written prompt.

How about you? What do you find easiest? Do you have an old prompt that was a favorite of yours? If so, what was it? Have you published any pieces you particularly love as a result of responding to a prompt?
