PicFic is still asking for Christmas/News Years tweets. What we have are great but could squeeze in a couple more if the right ones presented themselves.

Do you pronounce @picfic "peek fic" or "pick fic"? (or?

I pronounce it Pick Fick--but our native French speaking readers pronounce it Peek Feek. So you can take your peek--I mean pick.

Hope I'm not out of line sharing that.

It _is_ short for "pico fiction".

You are correct Kaolin. It's pronounced PICK fic. Short for pico-fiction. Personally, I LOVE the name. No bias or anything.

Hi Everyone,

As PicFic prepares to enter its second year of life, we have changed the submission guidelines. http://folded.wordpress.com/submissions/

You'll probably notice that the change is quite dramatic. The most exciting thing for me is that Ben White (of Nanoism) has agreed to lend a helping hand. He will be in charge of soliciting the "Headliners" mentioned in the new guidelines. I will be selecting the Featured Contributors and Pic of the Week winners.

The new guidelines take effect immediately, and will apply to:
1. Headliner & Featured Contributor stories that will be scheduled in June and beyond.
2. Pic of the Week stories that will be scheduled March and beyond.
