Every market does it a little differently. As far as twitter is concerned, it looks like @thaumatrope just does a weekly round-up of their authors with one #ff (#followfriday) call--but on their website, they directly attribute each piece to its author, if you step through them. (or I could be missing something, too :) ). Most put a bio either just before or just after the piece in the stream--while a few squeeze your name into the piece (so you have to leave enough room for such).
