what novel uses of lists have you seen so far?

The nicest thing I've seen is mags (like @tweetthemeat) using them to list out their contributors. I aim to do that with GUD at some point.

I haven't created any lists but it's interesting to see which ones I appear on. Some seems pretty funny.

What sort of funny ones have you appeared on? :)

All the lists I'm on pretty much have me tagged either as a "writer" or a "friend"--the closest to funny would be @apostate's putting me on his "fellow-loons".

The first list I appeared on was "Writer's Worth Admiring" HILARIOUS!! then there is "Lets Slow Dance" and "Word Salad Tossers" The first was Tracy Lucas and the second and third are xtx. A few of the others are Twibes lists and ones that just say "Writers", less hilarious.

I'm on two lists: one called "writers", and one called "kick-ass-writers".

I'm on herbs-of-words-in-bloom which is a pretty odd (or poetic depending how you look at it) name for a list, as well as micropoetry-6 and Nanoism contributors.

Time to nip across to the introductions forum here, i suppose. ;)

I'm really wishing twitter would make it easier to count how many lists someone was on. They show the info on the profile page so I could, in theory, scrape it--but so far as I can tell via the API the only way to get that information is to ask them for page after page of lists the user is on, until they stop returning them, and count them up. :/
